Priscilla Abrafi Krahn is a writer and producer from South London with Ghanaian heritage writing under-represented stories, typically centred around community, culture and connections. She is passionate about using storytelling as a medium to address societal questions and providing a communal space for people to delve into brand new worlds.

Priscilla is an alumna of Soho Theatre Writers Lab, and the Royal Court Theatre Introduction to Playwriting Group. Priscilla debuted her first full-length production at Theatre Peckham Fringe Festival, and has had sharings of extracts of her work at wider London venues, including Theatre Deli, Duke of York’s Theatre, Lion and Unicorn Theatre, Omnibus Theatre, Blue Elephant Theatre and Young Vic Theatre. She was shortlisted for the Women in Theatre Lab UK 2024.

 

For screen, Priscilla has completed screenwriting development programmes with Elysium Pictures, Seven Black Women, and The Victor Adebodun Foundation.

Outside of creating for theatre and screen, Priscilla enjoys visiting art galeries around the world and writing poetry. Her poetry has been featured on BBC Radio London and the Royal Society of Literature’s newspaper.
